Acknowledging one’s own shadow. can be a scary thing alone but when you are able to allow your true parts out it gives one the most amazing feeling, like a re-birth. The shadow is always standing right behind us, just out of view.
The shadow is the stuff we can’t see in ourselves but it seems to be the stuff that will press the button of angry, lack, fear, and yucking feelings. In our session you get to understand how important it is to know your shadow. The shadow is the “dark side” of our personality , we all have it!
It can be from the disapproval of our parents which threaten our safety?
The disapproval of our teachers and classmates which jeopardize our need to belong?
The child puts all of these unwanted parts into an invisible bag and drags it behind him or her.
Carl Jung writes in Psychology and Alchemy:
“There is no light without shadow and no psychic wholeness without imperfection.” In any direct light, we cast a shadow. Hugs
